When not to wait for an appointment
Heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fever with pelvic pain, fainting, or in pregnancy: bleeding, leaking fluid, reduced fetal movements, severe headache with visual disturbance, or blood pressure of 140/90 or above. Go to a hospital emergency gynaecology unit, or call 112.
